Matsudai History Museum

This cultural museum is located in a renovated kominka, or traditional Japanese-style farmhouse. It is chock-full of artifacts and photographs from decades past that show how hard life is in the snowy mountains, but also how people made the most of their lives and lived amongst the snow.
