The Tokamachi
Snow Festival

The date and events schedule have been changed due to the lack of snowfall.

Tokamachi is a town covered in snow for almost half the year. Rather than complain about living in so much snow, the Tokamachi Snow Festival was born from the idea of “let’s befriend the snow and enjoy our time in it.” The 71st Tokamachi Snow Festival’s big attraction is the “Main Area” held on the Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art KINARE and Michinoeki Crossten area. There’s so much to do!
